Eva's village is a place for the homeless, hungry, addicted, and sick to get help right in Northern, NJ.  Different groups I have belonged to in the past have donated time and supplies to this organization and they are always thankful for whatever they receive.  Many people in Glen Rock do not know/acknowledge that there is hunger and homelessness right in our "backyard," and Eva's village is one of the many organizations that is making a difference.

Kate Dunn, a sophomore at Glen Rock High School, is hosting a coffeehouse at the Glen Rock Athletic Club (221 Main St, Glen Rock, NJ) on Saturday, August 29th from 6:30pm to 10:30pm to benefit the Pearson family. There will be food, t-shirts and even a 50/50 raffle! Come show your face, help a good cause, and see what Glen Rock bands are made of!

A prime example of taking something bad and turning it into something good.  The difference in this case is that it was a very young girl who found herself a refugee in Ghana who set out to help others.  I think Lovetta Conto is amazing and this is jewelry even I can get into :)

This is my dad's budding guitar building/ repair business. My dad has always helped to support me in everything I do and now I would like to do something to help support him. In addition to guitars, my dad repairs amplifiers, speakers, organs and keyboard components, bass guitars and a large array of other stringed instruments.
